HP is definitely lauching a webOS tablet which might very well rock. On the other hand HP seems to imply webOS might make it netbooks too so don’t get your hopes up.

Google drops H.264 from Chrome. For the sake of openness and all. Don’t worry, they still build Flash right into Chrome so you can still watch video. Confused ? It’s all very clear. All web video should be nonstandard webM which despite not having a spec already has hardware acceleration. Why do you keep getting confused ?

Musicians sued the Canadian RIAA and own. This is an interesting case cause it shows not only the music industry makes it business practice not paying musicians (they even provision for it) and sets a standard compensation per track of around 150 canadian dollars. Meanwhile, facing a future of paying real money for invented stupidity, Euro ISP remind us “website blocks” don’t work. And remember USA trying to get info on Twitter users ? Some people in EU aren’t too happy about that.
