work
Quartz and UIK are so much better than Crystal. I want a Sony-Ericsson P800. Ouh. and that contract for syslog processing and stats are in good shape, there is a big chance that we will made it.

personal
My car is still broken. :/ car insurance companies sux.

BTW, advodiary is cool.

PERSONAL
Argh. We (me and my wife) got involved in a car crash. our poor litle car got smashed in the process yesterday late at night (10pm). :/

WORK
hundreds of RAS's SYSLOGs converging to just one place to be processed and analysed. just some terabytes of data. and we have just 2 quad-450MHZ SUN Enterprises.

FRIENDS
Verde666 is leaving Conectiva, will marry and move to Florianópolis, SC, in front of the beach (to work with Python). It's the end of world as we know it.

WORK Well. We worked untill 3AM monday. And my flight was 7:30am tuesday, who needs to sleep? worked all day @TIM Rio de Janeiro, our app worked (almost) flawlessly, made only on the emulator. *cool*. One problem: only 9600 BPS... argh. but our little trial went well.

WORK
"UML, XML, SAX, DOM, SOAP, CORBA, RPC, .NET. Oh how I hate these buzzwords ;) But it's ok. I'm enjoying my new job.". Duh. ruda is exposed for the first time to the corporate world. Heh. 3 months in a TELCO company gave me eons more experience in that acronym-swamp. BTW, I'm also enjoying my new job.

We (me, ruda and kojima) are working in a TRIAL for a big brasilian bank for tomorrow(!!). acidbase, gwm and eliphas are working in another contract (with YA bank). yep, buzzword- compliant work: GSM, 3G CELL PHONES, PKI, XML, UML projects, SAX parsers, SOAP, cryptic OSes (Symbian), C++, Java, blah, blah, blah. It's the wonderful new mobile corporate world. (BTW, that Nokia Comunicator is a brick, but I want one, too :))

PERSONAL
My wife now wants a vacation trip. oh well.

Heh. So much time, so much happened. I worked 3 months as 'specialist consultant for Arbor' in Global Village Telecom, making C programs in HPUX interfacing other systems with Arbor (iuck).

In the mean time we opened our own firm, Haxent (http://haxent.com), with ruda, gwm, acidbase, eliphas and kojima, we closed some contracts with Terra (Terra Lycos) and some smallers companies, and now we commited our whole team with MobileIQ, working with SymbianOS development (C++ and Java).

Almost a month now, yet without a job. It's not that jobs doesnt exist, the problem is to find a job that pays *right*. Heh. in the positive side, I have *plenty* more time to hack .br and wildweb.. but I'm not doing that at all. (why?) :/
