Monday... and back at work, what can I say? This week will probably be as good as the last one. I got what I wanted right away, I got Friday off and I'll work on Saturday instead. I was also assigned a little bit of extra work and that equals more cash and that's always welcome. Tomorrow I'll probably get my Sony DSC-P1 digital camera. If I get it I'll put up some pictures of where I live. Stay tuned!
Ahh, a whole day with no work. Today I accomplished... well nothing, I said it was my day off didn't I? Well, I figured out my ADSL problem with Debian today atleast. It seems that the network adapter in my computer is a bit old and needs to be replaced, so I'll buy a new one when payday arrives. That and a new harddrive, and a new mouse, graphics card, motherboard, cpu and a whole lot more. Well we'll see what happens.
OK, so I worked today(Saturday) instead of Wednesday. Got payed for 2 days of work instead of one, which ofcourse is great. So I'll probably do that next week too. Having some troubles installing Debian over my ADSL connection cause I can't find any howto's that describes what to do if you got a static IP(which I have ofcourse), so if you can help drop me a line at blackamon@linuxmail.org all help appreciated.
OK, time for my first diary entry. Finally after months of
waiting I finally got my ADSL. Experiencing rates up to
310K/sec so I'm not complaining at all. And with that a
static IP address. One book left to read and then I'll try
to write something useful for the Linux community(FINALLY).
Well that's about it, currently listening to Sonata Arctica
(www.sonataarctica.com) as mad, if you haven't heard'em go
visit their site.
