My new talk on "How Corporate Culture benefits from Free Software Philosophy" is well received. Gave it once on the GNU/Linuxtag and the GNU/Linuxpark at the Systems in Munich. Both times in German. Urgend need to publish more about this.

Oh boy, I should update my personal webpages... But there is so much work to do on more official pages like the onces from the ffii or the fsfe. *sigh*

The new millenium has started. May the source be with you.

Global Linux 2000 was fun. Had the opportunity to meet very nice persons in real life. The linux greenhouse and my talk about FreeGIS went fine.

And the best thing is that Tigert now has a working national keyboard. We were hacking on it in the COEX food court. The Greenhouse should have been located there anyway... :)

Visited the local GO club for the first time. The dan1 beat me badly, even with 4 handicap on a 13x13 board.

Back from vacation. Moved back to Germany. Now back to getting Intevation running. Anybody got work for a bunch of scientific free software developers.

Found two little python bugs. Can't play Go, I loose all the time.

Woohoo, my reply on raph's article got unintentionally shorter, but I'm writing too much anyway. Back to coding or lobbying for that matter. The FreeGIS CD to promote Free Data and Free Software GIS is coming along nicely. We should put up webpages with order forms for it soon. Made a Zope day on Saturday and a FFII day on sunday. Hacked hypermail yesterday. Finally a python script to create overview pages for the splitted archives. :-)

Advogato is slow for me today. Finally had time to do a GRASS day. Nice raster capabilities. Hit a couple of bugs on this university alpha machine. No time to fix them. Off playing Go again.

Uh, it's hard to get certified here. Peter finally gave me credit for helping out the FSF at the Atlanta Linux Showcase this year, thanks.
