Been a while since i have been here. I was gone for a while
because I needed a break from all the juvenile "Linux
Rocks, Windozs sucks" fodder. It was getting a
bit "played". I am a believer of action, not just
words..make a better product, educate the uneducated, share
your experiences to move the community forward and let the
merit speak...So lets take a look around and see whats
happening here!

who am i

I am the "chef cook and bottle washer" for
www.slickpenguin.com. Slick Penguin helps folks share their
experiences implementing Linux based business solutions
with the rest of the Linux community Whew..

Rather than get winded about myself, if you are
interested, you can read more about me and Slick Penguin,
in a recent article on Linuxmall called "Slick Linux".
Michelle Head did a flattering job with the article.

Some additionally tidbits, worked on various platforms as a
programmer (mainframes, Unix, Windows, Mac, etc.) in
various languages (Ada, lisp, C, C++, VB, Cobol, Assembler,
basic, fortran, clipper, PHP, PERL, you get the idea). It
all started in grade school once I saw PONG. The rest is
the rest.
