Released TeleGNOME 0.0.10 yesterday. Joop Stakenborg <aba@casema.net> made .debs for it, and told me he would put it into the debian distribution, since he is a Debian developper. Cool.

Tried to build Evolution all night, without much results. I get stuck on an error in libversit; it generates warnings like this:

 vcc.y:65: warning: `yyparse' redefined
vcc.c:10: warning: this is the location of the previous
definition
vcc.y:66: warning: `yylex' redefined
vcc.c:11: warning: this is the location of the previous
definition
vcc.y:67: warning: `yyerror' redefined
vcc.c:12: warning: this is the location of the previous
definition
...

it's really frustrating...

Had some new ideas for my SimpleSite HTML template system project, which I made about four months ago in Perl. Features to add:

  • Internationalization
  • Auto-summary function
I will implement internationalization soon, because my websites (including the gnome-nl site) are all in dutch now...

    - Got my GNOME cvs account from Elliot. Commited the new odometer docs.

  • I've been doing a lot for my study, since I study Artificial Intelligence i use the language Prolog a lot. Too bad there arent any GTK+ bindings yet for it. Well, wouldnt be usefull anyway, i think ;-)

As of yesterday i have taken over the coordination of the Dutch GNOME translation team, gnome-nl. The (new) web page is here.

Hacked some on TeleGNOME today, to make it gdk-pixbuf 0.7.0 compatible.

Read a reader on Java for my study, and realized that professors always try to formulate simple things as complicated as possible. I suspect them to do this on purpose.

By the way, this is my first diary entry ;-)

    New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
