A long time Free Software evangelist. Had a major part in helping SGI getting the Open Source clue and starting to support GNU/Linux in a big way.
15 years of software development experience. From compilers and embedded systems to web development. Recently ariel has been developing an anti-spam system that actually managed to put an end to his spam (ratio 40:1 before to 0:1 now) and many others as it causes almost all those who spam him to automatically report themselves to their ISPs and lose their accounts almost in realtime ;-). Yes, it deals with open-relays, obfuscated URLs, and much more... Interested? ask ariel about it.
