Well after a long break, here is a quick update for the diary.

Work way too busy and mostly why so little posted in here ;)

The World way too depressing, probably only going to get worse.

Underground growing well, seems that there are quite a few who want a different world.

Financial crypto still real hard giving money away, who would have thought it? Now have over 50 golden agents throughout the world, the totally anonymous stuff seems a lot less in demand, this also seems against my expectations

cya, Andrew...

Well a slight outbreak of outlook vbs scripting had me emailless for a couple of days while the company went into paranoid mode, this just after two days of no web proxy. I get back to the net and find it has lost Douglas Adams, but my box under the desk has ticked over a year without a power failure...

set up a PersonalWiki over the Easter weekend, everyone should have on. Very usefull, I used PhpWiki

Still sucks that my certs on Advogato amount to nothing :(

Just an update.

CARS Picked up new car for the wife on Fri (AUS$20000 Nubira) she intends driving until she is bored with it then we will swap and I'll use it for work. Sold the Valiant on the weekend (AUS$650, still have spare motor auto gearbox and diff if anyone wants)

WORK A little on the quiet side, will get around to fixing all the spares up, couple of workshop jobs in.

PLAY I am rated as an observer, bit depressing, have not figured out why I got downgraded, still thinking of ideas as to how to implement a trustable distributed credit rating system. Getting rid of the Valiant has made some room in the garage so I'll do a bit of cleanup and hopefully get some electronics projects underway again.

Secret service types seem to be doing lots of raiding on e- gold types lately.

Tends to inspire nervousness...

It seems I am now downrated to a mere observer, is this a result of being certed by bad people? Or has an important cert been withdrawn?

It seems that messing around on badvogato has done my reputation some harm, a little distressing if thats the case.

lkcl looks like his trust code would win the reward I posted on badvogato if he cares to claim it (at this time the code was not up on sourceforge yet), but his article description seemed good.

If any trustable person could take the time to check me out and cert me up, I would appreciate it!

I seem to have found badvogato as a nice place to settle into, hope that does not say anything too bad about myself...

I seem to have been spreading myself so thin around the net that I am loosing track of what is happening in some places. My lack of recent diary entries here is a point but is repeated in many other places.

Am I spending too little or too much time online?

  • if too little then would more time help? Or would I just find more places to take part in?
  • if too much, then who will help me keep offline? I only trust the opinions of other netters in this regard so I need to be online to discuss my net.addiction.
What to do...

It seems that diary entries and web browsing take a serious back seat once I get really busy.

My net time is now down to just a couple of hours a day yet the number of emails I read now is up to almost a thousand a day. Majority of course get trashed straight away but the couple of percent that need attention take so much of my remaining time :(

Hello diary, long time no type...

remind me one day to put some haiku on the net somewhere, as an exercise in identifying my own thoughts I wrote them down in haiku as they happened, a disturbing but interesting process. The result was a much greater personal understanding of my self, I think many 'socially misfitted' people would find it beneficial.

As a result of having some feelings running around in side my head and a developing social conciense, I urge you all to look here I don't care how hard you think your heart or mind is, when you read of some of the suffering in the world, you will feel their pain.

My musings previously about the need for a global underground resistance in no way mean that I am involved.

but my musings in AnonymousEmoney have actually lead somewhere

Have a very mery Christmas and new year everyone.

see you in the new millenium, hope the Y2K001 bug does not bite...

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
