that's a VERY good thing :D
yesterday (re)started coding some things in C.. i still have a lot to learn, but i'm in the right way.
now i'm downloading some security patches with apt.. i spent the whole week 'dist-upgrade'ing, etc, but now finishing the security stuff i'll have a real linux, fully functional, just like everyone else. :D :D :D

The guy i sent the translated HOW-TO said it must be in SGML, and i know zero about SGML.
I tried using zipslack again, but it definitly sucks, i'm thinking about partitionating with FIPS and install Debian, but i'm not sure, i'm afraid because i got very important things on my computer and i don't know if FIPS really works..
Hm.. I decided i'll create a nice website about games/musics/tools and that shit 'normal people' like. Just to make some money.. I think i'll spend all the money i got at the 'Arena Lan House'. aldjalkdasjdlad
I'm getting crazy! i need a girl, i need linux !@#$%!@#$%

I'm backing to free software and stuff today..
After writing this i'm gonna send that HOW-TO i've translated, then i'll read my mail, and then code something..
This afternoon i readed some tutorials about C and.. C looks cool. aiuaheiueiiauehaie
I'm gonna code something later, like sockets, etc..
Well that's it, bye bye.

Linux

I used ZipSlack here for a few days. My conclusion: it sucks. I've wasted the whole week downloading packages and it still doesn't works fine. There's allways a missing library or something.. The worse is that pkgtool doesn't tell's me what i need to download for the program to work(dependencies is the name i think). I decided that i'll create a new partition here with FIPS, and install Debian 2.2 (I have the installation CD), then i upgrade to Debian 3.0 later (Its hard to download big stuff here, i have a 28800 bauds per second modem :/ ).

I and Free Software

I finish translating that HOWTO's. I'm waiting for the guys at the mail list to respond me, so i'll send'em the HOWTO's for them to publish it.

Help..

I ask you who read this to mail me with suggestions about how to learn programming, how to help free software, information about that FIPS program, or anything interesting. Also, if you have a project and need help, mail me.
Finally, my mail: _liquid@linuxmail.org
That's all.

Today i've done my first contribution to free software. :D
I've subscribed to the ldp-br(linux documentation project - brazil) mailing list, and sent two mails to HOW-TOs authors, asking permission to translate'em.
I'm still learning more useful things like C, C++, Perl, etc. but i'm already using free software, so i feel obligated to do something for free software.
Soon my website+weblog+etc site will be ready, it will have GNU/Linux tutorials, the HOW-TOs i translated, some news, links to free software stuff(like GNU.org, Debian.org, kernel.org, etc..) and something about me. Dear diary(AHhAHhAh), bye bye.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
