I am Director of Network Operations for FIRST USA, Inc. (, a growing ISP with National coverage and roots in the Ohio Valley. I've been an avid Linux user ever since some buds at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh got me hooked back around 0.99pl14. I'm not a programmer but an implementor and researcher more than anything. I don't have any certifications, except perhaps from the Mental Health Board. What I've learned [as far as Linux] I've learned from hundreds of different people i've come in contact over about 6+ years. For a few years I was Lead Systems Administrator at FIRST before moving up to my present position. I live and breathe switches and routers, and if it weren't for Linus Torvalds and his Devoted creating a kickass OS back in the day I'd never be doing what I do now. Mike
