Back to work and evening courses.

At the menu for now : C and Network Administration.

I really prefer the Networking course. I still think about my final work to have my degree.

Got an idea ? ;)

One again, too much wirk.

Well, I passed my examinations. That's a good thing.

My first year in order to get my diploma as Bachelor in Computer Science is over.

Next year is a more programming year. C, C++, Cobol and networking course.

By now, it's a bit of holiday for me. At work, I got some tough negociation with European Parliament about buildings they raise in Brussels.

Life is stressful but I like it !! The great pinguin walk with me, I don't fear ;)

Once again, still a long time without posting.

It could be that ther's nothing to say about me and my life.

But professionnaly, I'm quite a bit interested in an independant status as GNU/Linux Consultant but my actual boss has maybe a special job for my.

Conclusion : talk more or less directly of your point of view as things you aspire to in order to be contact for it.

The company don't think one way.

Everybody try to use his position to orientate the view of the company so there could be anywhere a chance to find a better job.

I well passed my "Introdution to programming" course. I'm proud of it. Now, I can attend to others couses. The diploma approaches even more. I become more and more motivated to have it. The recognition of me could be a step to a better job also.

I bought the O'reilly book about Java : Head First Java.

So cool and easy reading. I think a will become a Java addict ;)

I've taled with the infomatician at work.

Things looks to change a bit since I've arrived in my new department. VB6 will be abandonned and Java arrived. It's a first step for more portability. My next work will be to change Access in MySQL or Postges but MySQL should be more easy to advocate.

Feel better now.

Future could be much better. I've got some good talks with a potential new employer. We've taled about acting as teaching Free Software in companies.

Could be interesting in order to be more often in the FS area and work for it.

We'll see what will occur

Quarter a century ....

sounds good, feels old ;)

I think about everything I've not done, things I could have done. things I'll maybe never do or be.

Too pessimistic.

I should go back to my "Learning Python" book to maximise my week-off evening courses.

Today, not so many things to say.

I work with others guys for a Merise Project. They all talked about insignificant things only babbeling. It fed me up. I took a piece of paper and write alone the schema.

After, they looked and they said :"That's it". Yes indeed "That's it". Next time, you'd better working efficiently instead of talking about stupidities .

Well, I found a wonderful bookshop. Ok, there's only a few computers books but there are brand new and not so expensive. 25% discount as in the main bookshop of the city. I bought a book about samba and one about Python. Very interesting.

Not so much work fr the examination today. Tommorrow will be more efficient. Yes Tomorrow.

Last day of the term for evening classes, I will take 4 days off in order to study all.

Today, I've written a letter to change the place I work in order to have less wasting transportation time to go to work and received the letter back from my superiour which agreed and propose to the hierarchy to change me as fast as they could.

So good news.

I think about to create a database to organise the piles of red tape of the administration and inventories ........... The idea grows, let's brainstorm it .

For someone who wanted a blog, it's not well used.

The stress of examination is around.

Course of Operating Systems and Analysis, Principes and Methods.

Well praticaly speaking, it's scripting in k shell and Merise Method.

I shall see.

But, my personal investment in projects is quite at a dead-end now. Too many different things to do. To less participation.

I still translate BGW in French.

Let's see what tomorrow will bring me
