Older blog entries for KBrown (starting at number 4)

Having the franklin CDU-680 modem working is a pain in the ass.

ipp2p is not blocking Lime Wire's Gnutella as It should. ipp2p is not blocking Ares but combined with layer7 and port blocking It finally works.....

Red Wall is a very good idea of a read-only distro but It would be a better idea if it worked. Now I will have to unsquash the 2.2.3 image to fix iptables for ipp2p and layer7 and put that missing layer7.ko module.

I have to go to sleep but I am happy to have my CDU-680 working. I would be happier if Iusacell gave me a route to the Internet I could use with that modem but I will call them tomorrow and let them know about my anger.

¡A huevo! ¡Ya recuperé mi cuenta!

Después de ocho años de no poder loguearme a KBrown por fin pude hacerlo tras recuperar mi password.

Chinguen todos a su madre.

I am back.
My child is born, my contract with El Sitio is over, so it's time to get back into programming funny stuff.

I've been making some tests on the child's sensibility on an external organ called placenta which they loose at the moment of birth.

My theory is that the placenta is a child's sensitive organ used to communicate with the mother's exterior.

The first evidence I have is that whenever I put my hand over the big thing containing a placenta with a child inside the child starts knocking on my hand, this indicates that the child has the means to know my hand's position over the placenta and move towards it.

The second experiment was similar to the first one, but with the lights off. The result was the same: the child knocked on hand.

The third experiment I will be doing is to play with the child moving my hand to different places around the placenta and wait for the child to knock on my hand before any other place. This game will need some practice from both parts but after it's dominated it will prove somehow that the childs can use their placenta to know the position of a hand over it.

For the next two months I will be working for El Sitio so I will not have enough time to read my mail and work on Tolstoi and Lassie.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
