Older blog entries for JALH (starting at number 1)

Been a while, but I see I've been cert'd by some more people.. :) Anyway, been very hectic here, I've had mocks and been up to my neck in homework etc.. For the mocks, I got an A* for maths with 88%, no supprise there... shame I couldnt get the 100% tho ;( I got A for geography, and B's for everything else apart from RE which I got a C. (Funny since I'm the most relegious in my class.. ;) I've learnt LaTeX now (well... almost :) and I'm doing all my school work using that and written some neat print filters to print it all out. I'm doing a web site to put all this up if anyone wants them... ZealOS has been on hold for a while cos of all of the work I'm having to do, and also with all the IRC I do.. ;) I'm working on an ELF converter for linux, so we can test there and work it into zealos as the base isnt really stable atm. I'm building meself a new box (500 K6-2/128Mb/2Gb) which should be ok but it isnt cos it keeps fscking up.. Anyhow, thats all for now. Try emailing me sometime about this and I'll do another diary.. :)

Well, finally got a small team going for zealos, believer doing semaphore and atomic stuff, gnrfan doing the module and function regestration, aris, bash and any others are starting on an ext2 impl for it... and we now have a mailing list (majordomo) at zealos@cathedrallabs.org. I'm working on debugging mm, elf to binary converter and generally fixing it etc :) The future's bright... but I dunno what color it is >;)
