Spent most of yesterday trying to stop ypbind from going into a CPU-eating loop and stop serving requests. It mysteriously started working properly after about four hours, which probably means it will happen again next time I don't have time for it. But at least the slave server is back up and running. I hate yp.
It seems like every time there's a deadline coming up, things start breaking. Today the T1 from hell has gone down again.
