Ok, I created a page for my activities for the Snow 2.5 Distro. It will be a seperate diary nexto this one. Snow 2.5 should take you there. Have fun.

I am having a litte fun now. I a writing (and perfecting) a very small Shell-Script for the new Snow 2.5 (Snow 2.49 actually) disrto.

The best part is, I am learning some new stuff and practecing what I have learned so far. Joost (the Tecnical Director) is coordinating me, so I can ask questions at him.

The script seems to be working, but I am not sure if it continues to when iit is implemented in the setup-script.

Ok, I have done it. I have installed an Firewall/Router. It is easy now and it is still working. Mostly because my ADSL connection keeps up.

Just wondering:

There is an LPI, but is there any kind of an PI for BSD??

Like I said, just wondering

Help!!!! I failed LPI 101 AGAIN!!!.....:(

Bummer :( I failed my LPI 101 exam by approximately 2 questions.

Back to hitting the books

Ok it has been a while. The exam should have taken place yesterday, but it didn't. They couldn't find me in the system. The exam institute is supposed to be a Pro (VUE certified) & MCSP. The system works, but M$ does not. So the exam is rescheduled for the 19th of September. :(

Geez.....A full weekend without a PC, bummer :(.

We went on a company outing. So I brought my Laptop along, but had no time to touch it.

This week I am planning to start building my Firewall/Router & server. (yep on one machine. No money left :( and I don't like it)

After a week of intensive training in Groningen, I believe I am prepared for the LPI 101 exam. :)

Fun @ home:
Some more fun starts this evening, I bought 2 10/100 ethernet cards and a 10/100 Switch and connected all of the HW and the UTP cables. I am ready to install Linux as a firewall, router, DHCP-Server and webserver. (I need more Diskspace) It will be a hard, (it's new for me) but I'll manage and I need the experience. And most of all, it wiil be fun. :)
