Wow. I've had this account for months and had forgot about it. I had tried keeping a diary before and failed miserably. Hopefully this one will be better.

On a lighter note, Nautilus is getter quite usable. I use it exclusivly on my desktop, but then... I'm me. Today, the ability to auto-arrange the icons on the desktop was removed. I don't agree with that at all. I didn't like the way that it was implemented before, but I liked it better than not having it at all. I think that the auto-arrange for the desktop should allign the icons to the left side of the screen. It would even suffice if they had a "Snap to Grid" feature like the Mac does. Every OS in the world (that I know of anyway), has a feature that lets them, some more than others, arrange the desktop. Oh well. That's my rant for the day I suppose.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
