Saturday was quiet enough. <A HREF="http://notagoth.org">Other half</a> had a party, so a number of people turned up, played with the cat, ate random finnish things with prunes in them, and generally drank stuff. I found more interesting beers in Oddbins (WaggleDance, a honey beer, Goliath, from the Wychwood Brewery, and a Belgian beer). <p> Sunday, a friend helped me move more stuff into my new flat. At least the Cube is small.. the athlon would have just taken up too much room, and made too much noise... <p> I now get to pretend to get exercise every day, with a 40 min walk to the office, rather than the 5 mins I had before. At least it's an excuse to listen to music on the way in (barely got one song in before, so there wasn't a huge point). <p> Must ring people in Doolin this evening about their hall. People on the LBW list seem to like the idea of Clare next year, so I need to hunt down the rest of the info I need. <p> <b>Jmason:</b> jabber is great.. It's nice to have one chat server that can talk to MSN, AIM (when they're not changing the formats), and others (I know trillian does it too). Though I really should finish my GTK <A HREF="http://www.gale.org">gale</a> client. And gabber is a reasonably stable client for GNOMEish people...
