
The Free Software Magazine, Issue 01, has just been published by Free Software Foundation, China Academy or FSF-China. It is available in html and pdf and printed copies can also be ordered from the publisher.
The content is also available from a mirror in the USA at www.free- soft.org.
This magazine is supported by the FSF and is dedicated specifically to free software. Its includes technical articles, news and essays about free software projects and of general interests to the community.

Free Software Managzine is a free (the "free" in freedom) magazine devoted to the global free software community. These are the legal and organizational issues you should be aware of before submitting your article to us:
All articles we will accept should be under free license which is defined by Free Software Foundation, Inc. and it should submitted via email to fred@mail.rons.net.cn or hongfeng@gnu.org. We prefer you adopt the GNU FDL of the copyleft license as the default, but if you have your own reason and not allow others to change/modify your points and views, then you should at least reach the minimium freedom requirement like this:

in any medium, provided this copyright notice is preserved.
Before your submit, if you have multiple files including graphics, please tar them into a tarball, and compress the tarball with gzip or bzip2. please uuencode it and send me as the attachment of email. Or upload to ftp.rons.net.cn by anonymous ftp under the /incoming directory.
Once submitted, you retain the original copyright but we reserve the right to publish, re-publish, and edit all articles in perpetuity.
Generally, we will not make major edits without your consent. Do not submit articles to Free Software Magazine that you have submitted to other "forums" unless you retain the copyright on such material.
FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
