First national FreeBSD meeting in Brazil

Althoug widely used in Brazil, both in academic and business environvents, the FreeBSD operating system didn't have a national event yet. This is about to change: in august 18 and 19 the Brazilian BSD comunity will meet in São Carlos, SP, for the First National meeting on FreeBSD (page is in Portuguese) and First Workshop on Security in Academic Networks.

Both events are kindly sponsored by the Federal University of São Carlos.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
