read about the sad news that Jeff Fox, Forth advocate, passed away on Chuck Moore's blog.

wish my 'pope with a funny hat' the best of luck with his new book. I am also wondering what will become of Forth language and Forth chip when Chuck departs this earth?

How's evolution of programming languages compared with the rise and fall of natural languages of small tribes?

My apology if the following rhetoric is considered too much of a digression from evolution of programming language. But it's the most important social programming on the market that I am aware of.

My argument starts with three premises or circular references:

1. Family is the foundation of human love
not the other way around, I'm afraid
2. God's love is the foundation of human families
suck assertion depends on your religious view or the lack of it
3. Gay love is the holy ghost a few encountered
?

First problem: how do you draw lines to promote or demote marriage out of most selfish concerns ?

The second question 'Can the same sex metaphor destroy or enlarge married life'?

I am stealing the Metaphor out of Tilt-a-Whirl

A metaphor's a gentle curse
that darkens life with soft implying:
or so I learned from reading verse.

A blanket is a woollen hearse.
A lover's word is widows' sighing.

And sex is just a human purse
with prices, goods, and people buying,

I'm left to wonder which is worse:

The third question:
If jobless rate among able workers is of any concern to you, then what do you make of the childless rate and abortion rate among able females of developed country? Can humanitarian aids to dying African children offset our loss as the whole of human race?

Man, a bear in most relations- worm and savage otherwise, --
Man, propounds negotiations, Man accepts the compromise.
Very rarely will he squarely push the logic of a fact
To its ultimate conclusion in unmitigated act.

Fear, or foolishness, impels him, ere he lay the wicked low,
To concede some form of trial even to his fiercest foe.
Mirth obscene diverts his anger! Doubt and Pity oft perplex
Him in dealing with an issue - to the scandal of The Sex!

But the Woman that God gave him, every fibre of her frame
Proves her launched for one sole issue, armed and engined for the same;
And to serve that single issue, lest the generations fail,
The female of the species must be deadlier than the male.

She who faces Death by torture for each life beneath her breast
May not deal in doubt or pity - must not serve for fact or jest.
These be purely male diversions - not in these her honour dwells.
She the Other Law we live by, is that Law and nothing else.

She can bring no more to living than the powers that make her great
As the Mother of the Infant and the Mistress of the Mate!
And when Babe and Man are lacking and she strides unclaimed to claim
Her right as femme (and baron), her equipement is the same.

She is wedded to convictions - in default of grosser ties;
Her contentions no suave discussion, but the instant, white-hot, wild,
Wakened female of the species warring as for spouse and child.

Unprovoked and awful charges -even so the she-bear fights,
Speech that drips, corrodes and poisons - even so the cobra bites,
Scientific vivisection of one nerve till it is raw
And the victim writhes in anguish - like the Jesuit with the squaw!

So it comes that Man, the coward, when he gathers to confer
With his fellow-braves in council, dare not leave a place for her
Where, at war with Life and Conscience, he uplifts his erring hands
To some God of Abstract Justice - which no woman understands.

And Man knows it! Knows, moreover, that the Woman that God gave him
Must command but may not govern - shall enthral but not enslave him.
And She knows, because She warns him, and Her instincts never fail,
That the Female of Her Species is more deadly than the Male.

It is a debate at least as old as the Reformation, when Martin Luther broke with the Catholic Church and insisted that reason was so corrupted that faith in the divine was humanity’s only hope of salvation. (Until relatively recently, contemporary evangelicals routinely leveled the same charge at modern Catholics.) “This is a serious issue, and if I am wrong, this is where I am wrong,” George acknowledges.

also would like to note this one instance of personal interpretation of Bible on homosexuality:


My impression that a same-sex relationship is a rebellion at the deepest level is the result of reading John Paul II's "Theology of the Body", a book that should be required reading for all priests, and for anyone like yourself who wants to understand in depth the reason why a same-sex relationship is a rebellion against God's plan for ever person at the deepest level. Adam and Eve fell after their rebellion, and one curse that followed was the man and woman being severed from each other, and with Jesus' arrival man and woman could now be restored in fullness and once again be the image and likeness of God. From a Trinitarian perspective, the severing of man and woman is the worst thing that has ever occurred since the dawn of time, for God (from a Christian perspective) is a relationship between father, son and spirit. And the Church has long held that the domestic church best exemplifies the image and likeness of God, and why man and woman in union is the image and likeness of God, which reveals best our godlikeness. And a child being born completes the Trinitarian image, and it is obvious to a Christian parent that a child is the best guru (spirit of truth) an adult will ever encounter, for to respond in love to the many needs of a child means daily sacrifice, and the deepest revelation from God is the son sacrificing himself on the cross out of love for every human being. Our true identities are discovered in the image and likeness of God, and that can occur only from a nuptial perspective, and why the nuptuality of man and woman in union (becoming who they really are, the image of the radically deep relationship that is God, so much so that they become one, imaging the oneness of the three persons of the Trinity). To be one with an other requires complimentarity, for without it the other is a reflection, a narcissistic image that makes complimentarity impossible. Therefore, a same-sex union is not union at all, and in sexual terms it is an elaborate form of masturbation. Even my daughter at the young age of 15 got this: "You don't understand, dad: it's easier for a man to be with a man than a woman, because the man is just like him. Being with a woman is threatening because in that relationship one fears losing oneself." Exactly: one dies and is born again more whole, more of who one genuinely is, the Trinitarian image of God. To rebel against being the image and likeness of God has to be the deepest rebellion of all, for it is a rebellion against one's real identity in the image and likeness of God. In other words, it is a question of identity, to be or not to be oneself, who one genuinely is. And yes, remarriage without an annulment or using birth control are forms of rebellion (when a Catholic rebels against the Magisterium, he/she rebels against God), but from what I described above it should be clear that that rebellion doesn't go as deep as a same-sex relationship. 7.28.2011 | 12:04pm Gil Costello says: The most important thing to understand about same-sex relationships is that the identities of the persons in relationship are constituted by sexual expression, and why their sexuality has to be made public if they are to be affirmed, and why a low-profile on the dynamics of sexual expression that is common in heterosexual relationships is not possible for same sex couples if they are to be who they claim they are: persons fulfilled by sexual expression. In other words, we cannot be who we are if we cannot be ourselves in public, and persons with a sexual identity must find public expression of their sexual identities, and thus gay pride parades and the persistence of having sex in public places, or at least making it a public issue.
