Notes:

autoresponder is just a simple Perl-based email receptionist, primarily intended as an automated 'don't call us, we'll call you' brushoff for email messages that don't deserve better.

All right, so maybe that's unfair. :-) I wrote this because I was tired of responding manually to hundreds of messages sent to apache@apache.org per week, almost all with virtually identical response text. It's not an all-singing, all-dancing autoanswer package; it has a simple job to do and that's all it does. It's designed to be used in a .forward or .qmail file.

If anyone is interested in helping with it, I'll move it into an accessible CVS repository. Right now it's just read-only to everyone but myself, RoUS.

Flash! Version 1.16.7 released 6 August 2002! See the Freshmeat site for details.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
